USS Gunston Hall LSD 5
Reunion Association

The USS Gunston Hall Reunion Association was founded in November of 1993 for the purpose of re-uniting shipmates who served on the ship and to hold reunions. After the initial meeting in 1993, we have had eight reunions: Las Vegas in 1995; San Diego in 1997; Corpus Christi in 1999; Las Vegas in 2001; Las Vegas in 2003; Las Vegas in 2005; San Diego in 2007; Branson in 2009.

More than 3,600 shipmates spanning the 27 years the ship was in service (1943 to 1970) have been indentified. All who served on her are de facto members of the Gunston Hall Reunion Association. To attend the reunions it is necessary to be an active member. Active members also receive our periodic newsletters and may request searches of our database to contact old friends.

If you have served on the Gunston Hall and have never contacted us, please do so in order that we may confirm you in our database or add you to it and put you on "active" status. If you have information on other shipmates, please let us know that as well.

Please refer to Page One or the Home Page for information on contacting GHRA.

The GHRA exists solely for the benefit of its members. We never share member information with any other person or organization. If you wish, availability of your data may be restricted as you direct. GHRA does not hold any political views and makes no endorsements or judgements of any political party or ideology. The only criteria for membership is having served on the U.S.S. Gunston Hall LSD 5 at any time during her active service.
